Part of the Voter Suppression Act implemented by the Republican Legislature is a requirement for a paper trail. Costing Texas voters billions of dollars, all voting machines had to be updated. The process will now be more complex, and no budget was created for extra poll workers. We need to prepare voters for long lines and educate them, so the process doesn’t prevent them from voting.
